BITE-SIZED FEBRUARY 2006

Welcome to this third edition of “The Harrier Bite-Sized” which is intended to keep you informed of forthcoming events. Gareth Smith.

White Horse Half Marathon: 2^nd April. Help Needed.

To host an event of the size of the White Horse Half Marathon requires a lot of people. Please can we ask you to help? We have to provide marshals at many points on the course (quite often needing a couple of people at a junction) and there are numerous other tasks. No previous experience is necessary and we will provide instructions. If you are running please try and find someone else to help. We would also welcome any home made cakes etc. for the refreshments stall.

Club Cross Country Handicap. Thursday 18^th May. 7pm. Sparsholt Firs

Following the successful re-run of last year’s event we will move this to a Thursday evening. Usual venue, usual 5 to 6 mile course. A chance to win the club’s “Pieces Trophy”.

Summer Social. Friday 9^th June. 7.30pm. Letcombe Bassett.

White Horse Harriers 25^th Anniversary Dinner. Friday 6^th October. Lains Barn.
