Welcome to this second edition of “The Harrier Bite-Sized” which is intended to keep you informed of forthcoming events.

Autumn Social. Friday 18th November at 7.30pm.

 

The autumn social will be held in the usual venue of the Comrades Club, Newbury Street, Wantage. During the evening the club’s athletics and road running trophies will be presented.

 

The food will be the usual arrangement where we ask you to bring some food to share. I never understand why this always works out so well – we always end up with a good variety. Drinks will be available from the Comrades Club bar which is reasonably priced. There is no charge for the evening although there will be a raffle and any donations of raffle prizes would be welcome. We hope to see many of you there.

Home Cross Country Race: Sunday 1st January

 

We are hosting the January Oxford Mail League at Lambourn on the morning of 1st January. We will need a lot of help with marshalling etc. on the day, along with assistance marking the course out the day before. We realize this may not be the most popular morning to ask for help, but we hope a good number of you will come forward to enable us to put on another good event.
