SUMMER BARBECUE - Friday 7th June 2013
Our annual summer presentation evening and barbecue will take place at the Court Hill Centre on Friday evening, 7th July 2012 from 7.30 pm. For a location map see here. As in previous years please bring along something to barbecue and drink. As always it will be an informal. We will present the awards from the last cross-country season inlcuding medals to those young athletes (under 17) who took part in three or more club races from last winter’s cross–country season. Dick has again offered to man the barbecue - and we are hoping for a fine evening - as a change to some of the recent years! The Court Hill Centre has space for youngsters to roam as well as somewhere indoor in case of inclement weather. We hope to see many of you there.
Also - note the date for the Club Athletics Championships. To be held in place of the usual training session (but still at KAs West site) on Thursday 11th July 2013.

CLUB ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS - THURSDAY 12th JULY 2012
The last club championships took place at King Alfred's School West site on Thursday 12th July 2012.
Owing to the rather wet weather the Shot Putt did not take place. The events that did happen were:
• Over 11’s - 100m, 800m, Long Jump;
• Under 11’s - 80m, 600m, Long Jump and Vortex throw.
