A.G.M.
The 2011 Annual General Meeting took place on Friday 14th October at 7.30pm in Old Mill Hall Grove. The meeting was quorate with a total of 22 members attending. The proposed new club constitution was accepted and the "14 Club" was selected as the charity to support at the 2013 White Horse Half Marathon. Details of the new committee can be found here. As I write this I note that some posts remain unfilled, in particular we are still looking for someone to fill the post of Treasurer.

On Saturday 18th February 2012 we are organising a coach trip to the Aviva Grand Prix indoor athletics at the NIA in Birtmingham. More details will be announced shortly.

The last club social event was the Barbecue and Presentation Evening - held at the Court Hill Centre on Friday 24th June 2011 where the trophies and awards for the last cross-country season were presented. Our congratulations to all the trophy winners and thank you to Dick for braving the elements and doing the cooking.
Our previous social event was our Autumn Social Evening which took place in November at the Comrades Club in Wantage. In addition to awarding our club trophies we presented a cheque for £1000 to a representative of The Prostate Cancer Charity. This charity was supported by the 2010 White Horse Half Marathon and was chosen in memory of our late President, Barrie Strange.
